Well by reading the thumbnail, you would have naturally guessed that who in his right mind would suggest that rioting is good. To answer this we have to understand the history of this nation. Don’t worry, this is not going to be a history lesson, but merely an exploration into the psyche of those who riot and from their perspective why it helps them.

The partition of India, is an event in history, even the most naive of all has some has some basic idea about even if wrongly that the partition and religion were two completely seperate things and had nothing to do with one another. The past ‘wisdom’ is slowly correcting and rightfully so, that the above mentioned understanding is slowly loosing the case to be any more. Anyways, coming back to the partition it was drenched with riots, killings, looting and arsening. This fear subsequently emnates into an artificial understanding to oneself that the only way out ofthis is to coble down under pressure, avoid the issue altogether and at best tone down the rhetotic so that it may seem less ‘hurtful’ to the rioter.

Now, as to why I choose the thumbnail ‘why rioting is good!’ is because after analyzing both the positions, it gets clear that the rioter has the upper hand in all the negotiations. This is not to suggest that the other party should also indulge in the same means. But the hope that Violence can be tackled with
